Confidence/Self-esteem

Confidence // 1
the feeling or belief that one can have faith in or rely on someone or something.

This is something that many people have a big issue with, I could say girls have issues with confidence and self esteem quite a lot but then I'd be excluding the boys.

The reason for our confidence issues? Many people blame social media, however as much as I'd like to that would be such a straight forward answer, therefore I'm going to explore some of the things people don't blame as much.

Firstly, confidence is all to do with YOU, as humans we take the easy way and tend to find someone or something else to blame. However sometimes we need to start with ourselves. Confidence is all to do with YOUR mental state, and how you see yourself. Moreover, how do we conquer ourselves? The saying goes: "you are your worst enemy".  Therefore the easy answer here is to get comfortable with yourself, but the question is how?

For example with outfits, if you don't feel very comfortable wearing a certain outfit or item try wearing it around the house the day before to get used to how it feels and looks on you, then ultimately you'll feel better and more confident wearing it the next day.

Additionally, it is said if you smile when you wake up you will essentially go into the day feeling happier and being positive, moreover repeating positive phrases like "I can do it" and saying "yes" to the right things can give you a positive attitude and make you feel more relaxed.

Ultimately, there are many tips and tricks to train yourself to see the better and not stress about the minor things like confidence. It's hard to not think less of yourself when you can see the evidence in front of you, but you have to remember that if you were to see yourself as another human and not a reflection in front of you, chances are you wouldn't recognise yourself. I know it's hard to not care about what people think, but it's better to try than to let paranoia get to you. You should have control over yourself.

Always supporting and voting for you.
